Kitchen Renovation

This new kitchen design underwent a full renovation kitchen project that is  functional and inspirational designed to meet the needs of today’s homeowner. 
Gorgeous custom kitchen remodel depicts a traditional style with today's trendy modern colors!  Custom cherry wood cabinetry door styles show a square eased flat door panel combined with large base drawers for ample storage. Base cabinetry contains custom pullout drawers, storage for special oversized trays and other needed storage that requires sizable storage spaces. GE Monogram appliances refrigerator is clad in custom panels fitting seamlessly.  The centrally placed cook top with exhaust fan in the kitchen spacious island intended to be able to entertain and socialize with family & friends while prepping and presenting delicious meals.  While conveniently located to a double oven! A stainless steel large double sink coordinated with a gun metal finish durable Newport brass faucet with two function pull-down spray head. The granite top Fantasy brown polished finish offers gorgeous colors that compliments the finish of the cabinets and helped in the selection of Sherwin paint colors including the stylish custom window treatment fabric. 
A functional desk area with hidden USB ports combined with a laptop station tucked away in a central self-storage drawer including a side storage and filing drawers combined with a top large cabinet with decorative frosted glass doors houses crystal glassware intended to be transformed as a service area for entertaining!

2018 Cape May Show House

Renovation project  of re-designing an existing space into a  residential gym with sauna, office with a custom desk facing the ocean, and half bathroom.

AN OASIS OF “FAN-TA-SEA” OF MIND AND BODY…..

Designhaus Interiors created two new functional spaces as part of the third floor of a Victorian seaside resort home. To be consistent with the Victorian style home, a sophisticated 1920’s Parisian European finish called “Ceruse” used in all custom cabinetry with the intentional use of a unique modern feel to create an in-house sanctuary.    
The new Gym and adjoining Office overlook the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and are bridged in the center by a powder room and sauna area.  The space is on the upper level of the master suite, an extension connected by a spiral stair case!  

The open environment of the Gym layout encourages energy and promotes focus.  Designed with sophisticated yet understated colors and patterns, elegant rich fabrics with colors of soft steal gray combined with textured coral and organic motif patterns.  Ergonomic tiles save floor and self from wear and tear.  Wall mirrors make the space visually larger, and allow one to watch their own progress in a well-lit atmosphere.

The modern design Office offers tranquility of “Mind”!  Seated with a view facing the serene tranquil ocean; a view that makes up for the stress of the day.   Non-cluttered and organized space promote mental concentration and focus.  Lighting is used to highlight points of interest from the cozy sitting area to the detailed elements of the bar.  The fabrics and colors range in shades of grays, whites and black, thus lending its modern style to a sophisticated scene combined with the European 1920’s “Ceruse” finish.  A traditional finish adds a welcome sleek texture to this custom-made book case unit and desk designed with a nontraditional style.   Simply accessorized with few ocean-themed accessories connecting the interior of the house to its location on the beach.

Basement renovation

Full basement renovation that included removal of existing furniture, old flooring, old kitchen, & etc.  

The client dream was to have the basement redesigned  towards her needs and taste.  She wanted a  surreal space that she can come to and enjoy after a long day at work whether with friends or just winding down and enjoying the serenity of the space and exercising!  The newly designed basement undertook a new floor plan that included new flooring, custom cabinetry, furniture, surround sound audio, wall mount television, electric fireplace, new ceiling tiles, recessed led ceiling lights, removed storage closet and added a niche with custom surreal mural scene that included the clients dog named lucy in the mural!  Stairs banister were redone with wrought iron and wood banisters with custom stain finish. Custom shelving and custom barn door harvested from sustainable barn wood. All woodwork were  fabricated and custom stained by clients brother Kevin, a talented custom cabinetry maker!

A - Custom Master Bedroom

Master bedroom transformed from before to after -  A style that offers sophistication, elegance, and style yet comfortable in everyway.  Custom master bedroom furniture (Robert Brander, furniture designer) were coordinated to clients existing dresser & chest of drawers, using same wood species and stain finishes but simplified the design to a modern style.  Lighting was enhanced by changing cove lighting to LED lighting (Thomas dingwall, lighting designer) and adding a Morano chandelier from Italy including a pair of coordinating candle light sconces, all lighting controlled by a dimmer to enhance the mood of the room. Custom window treatment and bedding coordinating with decorative ceiling finishes and paint color.

What was a basic builder bathroom was renovated into a functional spa like feel which provided relaxation for my client to enjoy after a stressful day!  The bathroom was completely gutted out, redesigned so it can accommodate all new materials including a larger hydro systems tub and luxurious lighting which provides a fun atmosphere.  All the natural materials, finishes and colors that were selected blended it self to cool tones which intensifies the style towards Green Design!
